Deleting Text

Step-by-Step Directions.

1. Highlight the text you want to delete.

2. Press the Delete key or the Backspace key.

 

TIP

You can significantly speed up your typing by using different keyboard shortcuts to highlight or select text. For example, holding both the <Ctrl> and <Shift> keys down and using the arrows keys will highlight entire lines or single words, one at a time.
